Sabbia Beach & the Continuing Renaissance of Pompano Beach

The introduction of Sabbia Beach, the first ultra-luxury oceanfront residential development in Pompano Beach in almost a decade, mirrors the city’s continuing transformation to become a vibrant, sophisticated, multidimensional destination.

Soon to be part of the Pompano Beach landscape are a creative arts district and cultural arts center, new high-end stores and restaurants. A few upcoming highlights include:

  • The Harbor NYC restaurant, which will be situated along the Intracoastal Waterway, is slated to open in fall 2018. The 10,000-square-foot upscale eatery, which will have space for 10 boats, boasts a high-end menu including prime beef, chicken, seafood, burgers, salads, spinach dip, steak egg rolls, coconut shrimp and sliders.
  • Located near the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, currently undergoing a $15 million reconstruction, the Pompano Beach Fishing Village will be directly on the Atlantic Ocean, with a promenade link to the Intracoastal Waterway. The major beachfront restoration includes exciting new restaurants and stores such as Pompano Beach House, Oceanic, Kilwins, BurgerFi, and Alvin’s Island.
  • The first hotel to break ground in Pompano Beach in over 50 years, a new multi-million dollar Hilton hotel, expected to be five stories tall and have 150 rooms, is predicted to break ground within the next year. It will be situated at the Pompano Beach Fishing Village, next to the city’s new parking garage.
  • As of October 2017, Fort Lauderdale’s Water Taxi routes now include Pompano Beach, which is reached via the Intracoastal Waterway. The Water Taxi now runs from Lighthouse Point to southern Fort Lauderdale, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., seven days a week.

“Pompano is becoming THE place to be for exciting and upscale dining, shopping, and leisure,” said Danny Salvatore, a partner in Fernbrook Florida, LLLP, the developer of Sabbia Beach. “We at Sabbia Beach are pleased to be a part of the ‘new’ Pompano Beach.”

Designed by renowned Miami firm Arquitectonica, and with interior design by award-winning Interiors by Steven G., Sabbia Beach offers only 68 residences. It features extraordinary resort-style amenities including an exotic, oceanside ultra-contemporary heated pool, state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the ocean, a yoga floor, massage treatment room, and his and hers steam rooms and saunas. The building also offers a 3,600-square-foot multi-purpose social room with a catering kitchen. Additional upscale features include large A/C storage units, 24-hour valet parking, charging stations for electric vehicles such as Teslas, and a car wash station.

Sabbia Beach is also home to a serene 20,000-square-foot private beach, designed by acclaimed landscape architecture firm ArquitectonicaGEO, including preserved, indigenous landscaping, plus a dune featuring native vegetation. Situated between Sabbia Beach’s pool deck and the public beach, which is also very quiet, the private beach is accessed via an elevated wood walkway over a dune area. It features movable lounge chairs and umbrellas, as well as beach and pool service. Sabbia Beach’s catering kitchen and outdoor pool deck grills can be used for private beach events.

Currently under construction, Sabbia Beach is expected to be completed during the first half of 2018. Now 85 percent sold, Sabbia Beach offers select residences. Only a 35 percent down payment is required as part of a unique Progressive Down Payment Program. Residents pay no condo fees in the first year of living at the development.

Sabbia Beach offers two-, three- and four-bedroom residences priced from the $950,000s. It is 100 percent funded with construction financing provided by Ocean Bank, the largest independent state chartered commercial bank headquartered in Florida.
