The introduction of Sabbia Beach, the first ultra-luxury oceanfront residential development in Pompano Beach in almost a decade, mirrors the city’s continuing transformation to become a vibrant, sophisticated, multidimensional destination.
Soon to be part of the Pompano Beach landscape are a creative arts district and cultural arts center, new high-end stores and restaurants. A few upcoming highlights include:
- The Harbor NYC restaurant, which will be situated along the Intracoastal Waterway, is slated to open in fall 2018. The 10,000-square-foot upscale eatery, which will have space for 10 boats, boasts a high-end menu including prime beef, chicken, seafood, burgers, salads, spinach dip, steak egg rolls, coconut shrimp and sliders.
- Located near the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, currently undergoing a $15 million reconstruction, the Pompano Beach Fishing Village will be directly on the Atlantic Ocean, with a promenade link to the Intracoastal Waterway. The major beachfront restoration includes exciting new restaurants and stores such as Pompano Beach House, Oceanic, Kilwins, BurgerFi, and Alvin’s Island.
- The first hotel to break ground in Pompano Beach in over 50 years, a new multi-million dollar Hilton hotel, expected to be five stories tall and have 150 rooms, is predicted to break ground within the next year. It will be situated at the Pompano Beach Fishing Village, next to the city’s new parking garage.
- As of October 2017, Fort Lauderdale’s Water Taxi routes now include Pompano Beach, which is reached via the Intracoastal Waterway. The Water Taxi now runs from Lighthouse Point to southern Fort Lauderdale, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., seven days a week.
“Pompano is becoming THE place to be for exciting and upscale dining, shopping, and leisure,” said Danny Salvatore, a partner in Fernbrook Florida, LLLP, the developer of Sabbia Beach. “We at Sabbia Beach are pleased to be a part of the ‘new’ Pompano Beach.”
