Ultra-Luxury Condominium Ushers in a New Era of Oceanfront Luxury
Pompano Beach is on the verge of a renaissance so profound, it will change everything people believe about aging South Florida beach towns. A fresh entrepreneurial spirit is transforming the historic city, block by block, from a sleepy beachside borough into a vibrant, sophisticated and multidimensional destination.
And Sabbia Beach, the first ultra-luxury “toes-in-the-sand” residential development in Pompano Beach in nearly a decade, will be leading the way when the stunning 19-story tower begins to rise over one of South Florida’s most pristine stretches of shoreline.
Writing in South Florida Business & Wealth, Kevin Gale says Pompano is popping.
“The city is exploding with a remade public beach, a new streetscape along Atlantic Boulevard, chic places to live, including Sabbia Beach Condos and Koi Residences and Marina, a trio of new cultural facilities and, yes, hip places to drink and dine.”

Here’s a quick look at just a few of the exciting new developments in the renaissance of Pompano Beach:
- The city has invested $12 million in a new streetscape, lighting, a playground and exercise equipment along Pompano Beach Boulevard, $7 million in a renovation of the Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, and $16 million in a 600-plus-space parking garage that will include ground-floor shops and restaurants.
- Pompano Pier Fishing Village will feature 48,000 square feet of retail space, including two restaurants, on six acres and a tree-shaded promenade stretching from the Intracoastal Waterway to the beach.
- Pompano Beach and its Community Redevelopment Agency are repositioning the city as an arts and cultural center, spending about $21 million on a creative arts district and cultural arts center that will soon anchor the downtown area.
- Under construction next door to City Hall is a new library and cultural center that will include a 5,000-square-foot space for theater and dance performance as well as a gallery and digital media center.
- New high-end stores and eateries such as Whole Foods and the soon-to-open Madisons New York Grill & Bar are popping up along central business corridors.
On the Ocean. Of the Ocean.
Into the midst of this renaissance, almost as if on cue, comes Sabbia Beach, an extraordinary 19-story condominium at 730 N. Ocean Boulevard with 68 ultra-luxurious oceanfront residences rising above 200 linear feet of pristine South Florida shoreline.
Directly across the boulevard, a new shopping plaza will soon be taking shape with dozens of retail stores and gourmet restaurants.
