Groundbreaking news!

On June 24, 2015 The Fernbrook Florida LLLP’s Sabbia Beach Team attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Pier Parking Garage, the first public parking garage in Pompano Beach. The event was held at the site on NE 2nd Street between A1A & Pompano Beach Blvd.

The event program began with speeches by Mayor Lamar Fisher, Commissioner Barry Dockswell, and Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca, which were followed by the ceremonious groundbreaking.

The Pier Parking Garage, which will include 663 spaces, will boast eye-catching curb appeal with three story tall metallic sails designed by architect Bob Currie. The garage will also hold a 6,200 square foot retail space as well as a new Tourism and Welcome Center slated to open summer/fall 2016. This will be the first step in the development of the overall Pompano Beach Fishing Village that will include 40,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and easy access from the Pier to the Intracoastal.

It is the dawn of an exciting new era at Pompano Beach and we are happy to be part of it!
